A TRAGIC OCCURRENCE.
TOLD IN COURT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.! Auckland, July 11. A witness at the S.M. Court to-daj spoke of a peculiarly tragic occurrence which caused him considerable monetary loss. A man named Suiytho offered, to advance, him .E3OO in order that ho might liquidate some business debts. I lie necessary papers were prepared, and witness went to get Smytne's cheque. , As ho and the latter were walking along the street, however, "?mytho dropped down dead, thus the cheque was never signed.
