FRENCH WORKERS TO STRIKE
BIG BUILDING TRADE DISPUTE.

Paris, July 10. The labour unions in the building and allied trades have voted in favour of a strike, which will in volvo 80,000 men.
Tho troublo has arisen owing to the contractors refusing to grant a nine hours' day or to abolish piecework.
_M. Baritand, the secretary, and MM. Viau and Dumont, assistant secretaries of the Stone Masons' Union, havo been arrested for inciting soldiers to insubordination.
