EVENTS OF THE-DAY,' The number,of persons who, visited the Exhibition yesterday numbered' 1582, and the takings amounted to,£lß 15s. Up.to date 113,1(10 persons have passed thrdugh tho turnstiles. THE BOWLS' TOURNAMENT. WON BY G. SNADDON. In the semi-final of tho Coronation Bowls Tournament, Prince (18) beat Breckenridgo (5); Snaddon (13) beat Ballantyno 8. In the final G. Snaddon rather easily defeated Frinco by 19 to 12. , . THE PAIRS TOURNAMENT.':"'. The' following is the drawing for the pairs tournament, which commences at the Stadium at 2 o'clock this afternoon:— From 2p.m. to i p.m.—Prince v. Ballinger; Neville v. Afden; Pollock v. Thompson; Williamson'v. Dimock; Danks v. Campbell; W. Hendry v. Hill. The above players will also be required from i p.m. to 6 p.m. From G p.m. to 8 p.m.—Bfackenridge v. Webb; Parata v. M'Whannell; Wylie v. Ballantyne; Noble v. Routley; Crawford v. Griffiths; Kelly v. Taplin. Tho above players Will also be required from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. It is tho intention of tho exhibitors,to havo a very big day on Saturday, July 22. Several of them have made arrangements to give away thousands of samples of Dominion-made goods, and tho sum of .£IOO has beenv paid to tho commissioners for tho gate, tho exhibitors to defray all advertising, bands, prize-money, etc. Some .£2OO has been guaranteed against any loss by the shareholders.
