Koadc) are: Mr. Burn, 10s.; Upppr Hiitt Telegraph Department , employees, 13s. Okl.i Mr. and Mrs. C, 10s.; employees of Messrs. Sargood, Son, and Ewaii, £6 135.; Mrs. Clerk, 10s. "Cinderella in Texas," reproduced at the Petono Palace Theatre, by local lilli— putians, and under the direction of Mrs! Ferguson, attracted a packed house. The proceeds (.£3O) will go to tbo Hopple Fund. Miss Ncllio Foster-and Master Olading received an ovation for their interpretations of their parts. A retiring collection in aid of the Henpie Fund, will be taken up in the Wei* lington South Methodist Churches at both services to-morrow. A very successful concert, in aid of the. fund was held at Wyatt's Hall, Worser Bay, last evening. The proceeds amount* od "to .£32, and the expenses were almost nil. This capital little event was organ* ised and carried out by the Knkariki Savage Club, and they were ably assisted by members of the Wellington Savage Club and the Orphans' Club. The pro* gramme—29 items—was a lengthy one, but very enjoyable. Mr. H. J. Wyalt was presiding "savage."
