MR. TAFT AND RECIPROCITY.
HIS SrEECH-MAKING CRITICISED. . By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright (Rec. July 7, 1.5 a.m.) Washington, July 6. Tho debato on the Reciprocity Bill has been continued in the Senate. Senator Cummins, of lowa (Republican), criticised Mr. Taft's pro-reciprocity campaign, declaring that tho President had left himself open to attack because of his championship of the Bill. Senator Burton, of Ohio (Republican), said reciprocity was tho natural destiny of tho United States and Canada. He defended Mr. Taft's action in-campaign-ing in favour of the measure.
