The motor-car tour of the Royal Automobile Club of Great Britain and the Imperial'- Automobile Club of Germany, for the cup presented by Prince Henry of Prussia, has begun. The route is from Homburg to Bremerhaven, thence by steamer to Southampton. On Monday next the tour through England will begin, the route being from Southampton to Leamington, Leamington to Harrogate, Harrogate to Newcastle-on-Tvne, Newcastle-on-Tyne to Edinburgh, Edinburgh to Windermere, Windermere to Shrewsbury, Shrewsbury to Cheltenham, and Cheltenham to London. There are 37 German and 28 British competitors, running as two teams. The club whose team has lest the smallest number of marks will bo tho winner. The object is to combine pleasure with a practical test of the touring qualities of each car. Prince Henry of Prussia drovo tho first car on the departure from Homburg, and the Duke of Connaught's car was also in the competition.
