The "Sydney Morning Herald" states that a crisis is .imminent in the State Labour party over tho question of i freehold land tenure. , The Minister for Lands (Mr. NoilsonV is likely to resign, owing to the decision of tho Labour caucus not to proceed with the repeal of the Conversion Act. About one-third of the party threatened to break away if an attempt were made to abolish tho freehold. "ABSOLUTE MOONSHINE." (Rec. July 6, 9.10 p.m.) Sydney, July 6. Mr. Holman, the Acting-Stato Premier, described tho rumoured disruption of the Labour caucus as absoluto moonshine, without tho slightest foundation.
