LODGE MEETING.
Tlio Ancient Order of Foresters, Court Sir George tlrey, 3US, held ail interescing meeting on v Tuesday evening in their court-room, Lainbton Quay, winch was largelv attended. The C.lv. was highly pleased at the number of now laces attending, which indicates a revival of interest in this old-established court. A great deal of correspondence and general business was attended to, also the initiation of a new member, after which tlio following officers were installed for tlio ensuing term:—C.K., Bro. Dryden; S.C.K., Bro. Anderson; S.W., Bro. \vilson; J.W. Bro. Eadio; 5.8., Bro. Whitiington; J.U., Bro. 0. Smith; secretary, Bro. Clark; treasurer, Bro. l'icot; M secretary, Bro. Lighlfoot. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded to the retiring officers for tlioir past services. Tlio now-ly-eleclod officers returned thanks. • A copy of the district auditor's renort congratulating the court on its clear and sound balance-sheet was received. Three new members were proposed for initiation oil' the ensuing court night.
