THE SHRFFIRLD CHOIR.

The Sheffield Choir's first concert in this city was a great success, the spacious car-sheds which had been arranged for the occasion holding a very large audience. The famous visitors gave a brilliant rendering of the "Dream of Gerontius," their tfforts being welcomed with the utmost enthusiasm. 'I he choruses were splendidly sung, and the soloists who wero all in excellent voice, receiveil unstinted applause. Tho linnccouipanied singing of Sullivan's "0 Gladsome Light" from the Golden Legend," with which the concert concluded," was a particularly fine effort: on the part of the choir, which the public was able to thoroughly appreciate.
