W.F.A. COMMITTEE MEETS.
Mr. 11. M'Keown presided over tho usual meeting of the .Management Committee of this Wellington Football Association last evening. Ihe Dunnevirke Association wrote thanking tho committee for thc visit of a Wellington team, and stated that it was hoped to return the compliment next season.
MLeorl and Wright, two members of the Y.M.C.A. bixtli Division CI team, were grunled permission to plav for the B team.

A Second Division representative team is to visit Slarlborough, and the selectors wero instructed to choose a team immediately.
A letter, was received which stated that tho Porirua-Kangors Sixth Division match was onlV- of ,1U minutes' duration. It was decided that discussion on tho matter ba held over until the referee's report comes to hand.
Iho Boys' Sub-Committee reported as fallows:—lt was decided that tho Fourth Division championship /bo completed on Saturday next. A second round in tho bixth Division compotiiion is to bo playSH",,.August. 12 is the date on which the iitth Division representatives will nlay Auckland, Mr. C. K. Dick was appointed manager of the team. A committee, consisting of Messrs. Dick, M'Keown. and Thompson, was appointed to raiso funds in connection with the trip, and a report was asked for. This was to be handed ill by next Wednesday.
Tho report was adopted. It was decided that a committee wjit ?? i^ 0 headmasters of public schools in Wellington, at 1L>.15 p.m. on Satnrdav, to discuss proposals in regard to schoolboys' football.
UNION—HEARTS B. This match was played on tho Basin lE-eserve yesterday. Bather scrappy play took place, in spite of the able backing up by "liaisbeck" and Eicarsby for Union, and Kenneway and Campion for Hearts B. Several of the players, who are now to the game, wero not well versed in their duties, and. this caused moro work Jor the experienced players. The new men hav« tho appearance of being likely '"colts," and probably they will' have a more polished look bv the' end of the season. Tho game,ended in a drawfour goals each.
