UNCOMFORTABLE RAILWAY CAR. (By Tclecraph.-Sticcial Correspondent.) VVanganui, July 4. Much dissatisfaction was expressed at a meeting of the Chamber of Commerce last evening at the accommodation on the special Wuiiganui car nllaehod to tho Wellington-New Plymouth express. The Railway Department state dial (he ear is not patronised, mid assumes that there are not enough passengers to Waiig.inui to justify keeping it on. The niembers of the. Chamber of Commerce assert that the car is so old-fashioned and uncomfortable that travellers prefer to uso the more comfortable cars on the train, and make tho change at Aramoho rather than put up with (he, discomfort of the special car. Further representations will be made to the Department on the mailer.
