SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Tho barometer fell slowly on Saturday, but rose in the south on Sunday, with cloudy and somewhat milder weather and rain m parts, but hard frosts were recorded in the south on Sundav night and a cold night everywhere. The winds have been moderate and variable. Present indications are for a. slight temporary fall in the barometer in the south, preceding a rise everywhere. Variable winds will probably soon give way to moderate southorlies generally. Conditions are somewhat unsettled now in narts. but there aro indications for fair weather •shortly with a steadily rising barometer. D. C. DATES, Meteorological Office, Wellington, July 3, 1911. Groytown, July 3.—The weather to-day has been cold, and foggy. The thermometer at 9 a.m. was 4Meg. There are signs of fine weather this afternoon. Hastings, July 3.—To-day tho skv has been overcast, and the weather cold, but there has been no rain. Many a mother knows the value of a. few drops of "NAZOL" on baby's nightgown when it has been hot, feverfcl, and restless, suffering from a cold, and' ho-- it has quickly soothed the little one.
