At a meeting of the New Zealand Boxing Council a letter was received from the secretary of the New. South Wales Sports Club, stating that, in connection with the Australasian championships to be decided at Brisbane in September, his committee was in favour, of the, referee acting from the outside of the ring, as was the custom in Sydney,, and that the back or loin punch should be declared Illegal.
