TROOPS IN READINESS.
ORDERS ISSUED TO A BATTALION. (Rec. July "1; > 1.8 aim!) : London, July 3. The second battalion of the South Staffordshire' Regiment at Lichfield has been ordered to Hold itself in readiness to proceed to Liverpool or Hull. A man has been arrested in connection with tho burning of tho Silloth Lighthouse, belonging to the North British Railway Company.
