FURTHER APPEALS.

FROM COUNTRY RACING CLUBS. Two country racing clubs have already interviewed tbe Minister for Internal Affairs (the Hon. D. Buddo), with the object of obtaining some mitigation of tho sentence pronounced upon them by the Racing Commission. Four others have now applied for interviews with the Minister. To-morrow tho Hon. D. Buddo will hear what the Ashhurst Racing Club haa to say as to why it. should not cease to exist," and on Wednesday he will receivo a deputation from Kailcoura and Waitara Racing Clubs. On Saturday next tho Ohaka Club (near Kaiapoi) will interview the Minister at Christchurch.
