Mrs. Helena Titus, a complexion specialist, trading in London and Australia as Mademoiselle Helena Rubenstoin and Company, sued Mrs. Wintcrfcldt, a wealthy resident, of New York, for inducing an assistant (o break licr contract. Tho evidence, showed that Mrs. Titus paid I ho'assistant at the rate of 12s. Gd. a week aiul chained Mrs. Wintcrfoldt .£l5O a month for treatment given by the assistant. During a visit paid to Australia and Now Zealand by Mrs. Titus tho assistant accepted an offer of J2250 a year from Mrs. Wintcrfcldt, and left tho service of Mrs. Titus.
An accountant proved that tho sale of tho Rubenstein preparations at tho London branch amounted to .£12,823 in eighteen months, and tho treatment fees to =£10,905 during tho satno period.
A verdict was returned for tho defendant.
