Messrs. Levin and Co., local agents for the Opawa, received word from Blenheim yesterday which stated that the vessel would reach Wellington to-day. This is taken as an indication that th,o stone that, was lodged between her propeller and rudder has been removed. The Opawa. is scheduled to leave Wellington for Blenheim en Monday at 4 p.m. On inquiry at the local office of -,ho Union Company yesterday it was fovnd that no definite instructions had been received as 1o where tho Takapuna will bo repaired. It. is practically certain, however, that the vessel will be towed to Port Uialmers. At 7 a.m. on May 12, when the Tarthcnta was on the run from Cape Town to Albany, a brigantine-rigged yacht, steering east and under short canvas, was passed A strong westerly wind was blowing at the' tanc. and a rough and confused sea was running. Komata. s.s.. is to leave Westport for Wellington with a load ■ of coal to-day. The Kamon.i is expected to complete Hi'*.. charge cf the Wellington portion of her cargo this morning, and sails for Napier and Auckland.
