Material of every description for the construction of a dwellinghouso or any other class of building, is obtainable at the Patea timber yards, at current rates. Mr. F. H. Boase, bookseller and stationer, Hawera, invites visitors to the Dominion Show to seo his nvelty dept. He has a largo stock of useful books for farmers. Tho Now Zealand Loan and Mercnntilo Agency Company, Hawera, havo a large advertisement in this issue which gives particulars of a number of farms, ranging in size up to 3300 acres for sale. Tho prices of theso farms are reasonable, and they provide excellent grazing property. Tho firm have a largo stock of the leading varieties of grass and clover seeds. Mr. W. O'Callaghan. Hawera. advertises particulars of two good farms for sale in the Taranaki district. Miss M'Mcuamng. dressmaker and milliner. Bridgo Street, Bltham, advertises in this issue some special bargains for ladies in Petone and Kuiapoi tailor-made costuraw, ladies' coats, macintoshes, and ,aba millinery,
