LODGE MEETINGS.
The Sons and Daughters of Temperance held their quarterly meeting this week at tho Friendly Societies' Hall, Ingcstre Street, Bro. Williams presiding over a good attendance. It was unanimously decided to change the meeting-room from Tngcstre Street to tho Rechabite Hall, Manners Street, as it was thought, that the room would be more suitable, and it was .also decided to liold a l '"social" for the opening night, which will be.Thursday next. " The election of officers then took place, and the following officers were elected:—Bro. A. Williams W.P.; Brp. L.''Lyons, W.A.; Sister T. Patten, R.S.; Sister E. Lyons, A.R.S.; Bro.. T. C. Parsons, F.S.; Sister N". Deverenx, treasurer; Sister E. Harris, chaplain; Bro. M. Winter, conductor; Sister M. Winter, A.C.; Bro. J. Patten, T.S. Pride of Brooklyn, TT.A.O.D., held their usual meeting at the Masonic Hall, Brooklyn, on Thursday, Bro. J. Benge, A.D., being in the chair. The election of officers having taken nlace, the installation of the various officers was then h"ld. Bro. Booek. D.P.. was installing officer, and was assisted by P.D.P. Bio. Allen. The officers installed wer<> as.fallow:—A.D. Bro. B"ngc, V.A. Bro. E. Heiidrikson; See. Bro. Coward, Trci«. Bro. n. Benge, T.G. Bro. Johnson. O.G. lire. Polg'aso, A.D.B.'s Bra. Boodv. and V.A.B.'s Bro. White and Brn. T). Hendriksou. The visitors. Bro. Everitt (AX)., Melrose), and Bro. Banks (A.D., Coronation), were thanked for attendance. One initiation was taken.
