WELLINGTON SHAKE MARKET. The market for mining shares wag buoyant yesterday, and the tendency was towards higher prices. Vaihis ware firmer, although no actual transactions were recorded. New Sylvias advauced from 2s. lCtl. to 3s. Id., buyers (with actual sales) at 3s. '!d. Talismans sold at 49e. 6d., but weakened slightly afterwards. The sales recorded were as under:— Consolidated Boldfields, 21s. 3d. (third call). May Quee-i, Zs. 6d., 2s. 6d. (third call), New Sylvia. 3s. Id., 3s. 2d. (second call), is. 3d., 3s. Id.
