Abraham and William?, Ltd., report:—At our Palmerston North site, hold on Juno 29, >ve had a heavy yarding of sheep and a .small yarding of cattle Shcsp were in keen dennnd, and practically every pen sold under the hammer. Alv>-almin and' William?, Ltd., report:—At our ISaumai sale, held on Tuesday, we had a. (rood yarding of shoep, which met with a ready sate. hoßccts and ewes in lamb showing an advance of 2s. from the previous sale. Cattle,camo forward in small numbers, and sold at late rates. We quote:—Two-tooth eves, 155., lCs. 7d.: six-tooth to s.ra. ewes in lamh, 6s. to 6s. 6d. to B*.: empty owes, 4s. 9d.; lambs, ss. Sd. to Bs. M. to 9s. Id. Cattle: Weaner heifers, 305.; store cows, £3.
Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd.. report holding a most successful sale on account of Mrs. M'Donald. of Itaumni. The herd of 40. which were a particularly choice lot. averted £9 16s. 3d., beinjr mostly August, calvers, and well into tho sprint; unci's. They ranged from ..£5 ss. to £13. The dispersal salo of the late Mr. O. C. Whoelcr'p stock was concluded to-day, when Hereford cattle were offered. As was the case with Homneys on the previous day, prices were exceedingly good.
