STRUCK BY LIGHTNING.

Lightning struck tho Church of St. Jean Baptiste, at Montreal, causing, a firo which totally destroyed the building. The church was rebuilt iii 1808 at acost of 4140,000. NAPTHA RESERVOIR SET ALIGHT. (Rec. Juno 29, 0.40 p.m.) Vienna, Juno 29. Lightning has started an alarming firo in tho Galician. naptha district. Tho flames have risen abovo tho naptha reservoir, and aro covering tho streets and •railways. Two bridges havo already been destroyed, and tho town of Gorlitz has been cut off from tho outer world. The loss is estimated to amount to ,£IO,OOO.
