Sho asks the Sultana, of Selanga to havo pity on her sufferings and pardon her.

Mr. W. Steward was manager of the Salak tin-iuiucs until a short time before he was killed. Mrs. Proudlock's story was that sho was aloue in her house when Steward make violent advances to her. She took a revolver and fired sevoral shots at him.
