• 6 :— AUSTRALIA'S NEW GOVERNORGENERAL. B> Teleeraph-Press Association-Oopyrieht London, June 28. Lord Dcnman, tho newjy-appointed Governor-General of Australia, and Lady Denman, accompanied by their suite, were b'iven an enthusiastic send-off at Victoria Station on their departure for Marseilles, where they will join tho mail steamer. Mr. Fisher (Prime Minister of the Commonwealth), Mr. Batchelor, Sir. Georgo Reid, Captain and Mrs. Collins, Messrs. F. Savage, Buckley, and Fairbairn, Sir Johii Forrest, Messrs. Fraser, Gould, Kelly, Poynton, Lady Robinson, the Bishop of Perth, Sir J. Symon, all the Australian visiting members of Parliament except Mr. Spence, Messrs. St. Just, Allen, Shepherd, and Atleo Hunt were among those assembled to wish tho new GovernorGeneral and his wife God-fpeod. Lord D,enman's children will sail next week.
