KING AT NORWICH.
ROYAL' AGRICULTURAL SHOW,

King George, who-is President of the society, visited tho Koyal Agricultural Show ot Norwich to-day. His Majesty received an ovation on his arrival in the city. Bpiiulifiil weather prevailed, and enormous crowds lined the streets.
Sir Joseph Ward (Prime Minister of New Zealand), Sir J. W. Taverncr (Victoria), Sir Newton Monro (West Australia), tho Hon. A. Kirkpatrick (South Australia), and many Australians are attending- tho show.
The Commonwealth made a splendid show of products of tho various States. The Victorian fleeces, fruits, and wines, the New South Wales grains, and West Australian grains and fleeces were greatly admired. There was also a fine display of butter.
Tho States' pavilions are placarded with large paintings of Australian country life.
Farmers representing each State addressed largo groups of English farmers eager to obtain information as to tho productive capabilities of tho Commonwealth.
The King visited tho West Australian stand, and conversed with Sir Newton Moore, tho Stato's Agent-General. His Majesty showed great interest in the development of the State; and hoped that West Australia would continue to attract many suitable emigrants.
