ALLEGED "CORNERING" OF ABATTOIRS. By Telegraph—Press Ajsocfatlon-Cotiyrißht Sydney, Juno 2S. A deputation informed Mr. Flowers, Acting-Chief Secretary, that a meat combino had "cornered" tho slaughtering space at tho abattoirs. Although they were not using the space themselves, they refused to allow others to us-! it, thereby hampering trade. > Mr. Flowers professed amazement at the statements, and declared emphatically that the Department would not tolerate such a condition, even if it had to cancel the leases. Tho matter would bo remedied in such a manner that there, would be no possibility of a recurrence of the trouble.
