NEW ZEALAND SUCCESSES. Br Telceranh—Press Association—Couyrlebl (Rcc. June 28, 9.30 p.m.) Sydney, Juno 28. The entries in tlio Sheep-breeders' Show, which prccedos tho annual sheep sales, were well maintained both in number and quality. Tho Tasmanian brooders swept the board in the unhoused merinos' section, but the New South Wales breeders were most successful in tho housed classes. In (ho British breeds Mr. Studholme, of Canterbury, took first for a Roniiiey Marsh ram under eighteen months. Mr. J. DOwthwaite, of Canterbury, annexed most of the prizes in Border, Leicosters, and took first and second in each case for rams over two years, under two ycv.rs, under eighteen months, and for ewes under two years and under eighteen months. 'Mr. J. Nixon, of Canterbury, also secured two third prizes. In tho Border Leicester classes Mr. Dowtlnvaite was also awarded championships for a ram under two years and a ewe under two years. Mr. Nixon, of Killinehy, also secured three thirds.
In English Leicesters, Mr. Nixon took first, champion, and second for ranis two years; second and third for rams under two years), second for a'ram under eighteen months; first and champion for a ewe under two years; second and third for a ewe under two years; and third for a ewe under eighteen months.
