Owing to the couplings .breaking, two portions of a train came into collision near Yongala, 160 miles north of Adelaide. •. Tho guard's van. was smashed to matchwood, and the guard, named Wchr, was killed instantly. COLLISION IN AMERICA. New York, June 26. An incoming express train came into collision with an inter-urban car at Los Angeles, in California. More than a scoro of persons wero injured, some of them fatally.
