Naval Estimates in tho Naval committee of the Hungarian Delegation lvas heard recently. Admiral Count Jlontecuccoli, head of the Naval section of the Imperial and Royal Ministry of War, declared that tho first Dreadnought ought to be launched in the middle of this year and the second at the end of it. After completion, in 1915, of the present naval programme, tho fleet would number 13 battleships, nine cruisers, 18 destroyers, 48 torpedo boats, and 12 submarines. The naval strength they ought to have, however, was 16 battleships, 12 cruisers, 21 destroyers, 72 torpedo boats, and 12 submarines, so that the fresh constructions to bo carried out between 1915 and 1920 comprised three battleships, three cruisers, six destroyers, and 2-t torpedo boats, the expenditure entailed by the building of which would reach a figure equal to the appropriation required for the present naval programme.
