ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
SUDDEN DEATH. (By Telegraph-Press Association.) ' Wanganui, June 21. Mr. Henry Hood, one of tile borough's foremen, and an old Wanganui bandsman, died suddenly tin's morning, aged U, after a paralytic stroke. He was at work yesterday. BODY AT FOOT;DF CLIFF. Timaru, .Tunc 21. The lwdy of Archibald Kennedy, GD years of age, was found at the foot of a cliff at th* end of North Street this morning. The man had evidently walked over the eliff. which is from 40ft. to 50ft. high, some time during tho night. A rumbling shock of earthquake was experienced at 10 minutes to 10 o'clock last night. Tho attention of farmers in search of largo blocks of sheep country is directed to a property advertised on page 10 of to-day's issue by Messrs. London, Goss and Co., real estate agents. Wanganui. This splendid estate must find a ready sale, as the locality is recognised by graziers as being the healthiest sheep country in tho Dominion. Tho bush has been foiled, and the grass well selected and plentifully sown, and tho land to-day is wintering 21 to 3 sheep per acre.
Messrs. Miller and I?niter insert a new advertisement in another column of farms to lease in the Wellington district. Special attention is directed to a Lower Hutt dairy farm,_ with nn established milk round, for disposal as a going concern.
