A REFORM PARTY CANDIDATE.
FOR THE lIAWKE'S BAY SEAT. (By Telctraph—Special Correspondent.) Hastings, Juno 24. A meeting: of Opposition supporters was held on Friday night, and was attended by about sixty persons. Mr. Georgo Land presided. Mr. 11. MV Campbell, of Paukawa, attended, and announced Ms intention to contest fhe Hawko's Iky seat in (lie Opposition interests of the Reform party. The meeting unanimously decided to support Mr. Campbell's candidature.
