♦ OPEN-AIR CONCERT. By Toleeraph—Press Association—Oonyrlirlii Sydney, Juno 21. At the close of tlio Sheffield Choir's Coronation concert Dr. Ilarriss paid a grateful tribute to tho enthusiasm and kindness of the Sydney people. Ho said tho choir would return to England and spread abroad the charm of Sydney and of all Australia. In order to show their gratitude to the Government and the people of New South Wales, the members of the choir intend to givo an open-air concert today. . A GREAT FAREWELL. (Rec. June 22, 0.30 a.m.) Sydney, June 21. The members of the Sheffield Choir are passengers by the Wimmera, which sailed to-night for Auckland. Before leaving tho choir gavo an openair concert in front of tho Post Office, and rendered many choral numbers, including tho "Hallelujah Chorus." There was an enormous crowd, estimated at fifteen thousand, and every vantage point was packed with people. At tho conclusion of tho concert all joined in singing "God Save the King" and "Auld Lang Sync." The scene was a heart-stirring one, tho music being taken up in the surrounding- streets by tho whole assemblage. At tho final concert in .the Adelphi Theatre in the afternoon there was an enormous crowd.
