CORONATION DAY NOTICES. "WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL. CORONATION OF KINCi GEORGE V. 22ml JUNE, 1911. ORDER OF CIVIC PROCESSION Tc NEWTOWN I'ARK. MEMBERS or Friendly and other Societies, Snorts Bodies, aml others taking Dart, will assemble in CAMBRIDGE TERRACE AT 10 A.M. SHARP," and will form up facing the Basin Reserve, commencing at St. Patrick's College Gate, in the following order:— Navy League Members. Bay Scouts. Salvation Army Band and Army Members. Hibernian Society. British United Order of Oddfellows. Ancient Order of Foresters. Independent Order of Oddfellows. Sons and Daughters of Temperance. Manchester Unity of Oddfellows. R-schabites. Tramways Band and Tramway Benefit Society. Ancient Order of Druids. Orangemen. Good Templars. Other Societies. Mission Band. Wellington Iloekey Association. Wellington Rugby Union. Wellington Football Association. Wellington Lacrosse Association. Other Sports Bodies. The Procession will move off at 10.15 A.M. SHARP, and will junction villi the Territorials at Buckle Street. No vehicles will bo allowed in Newtown Park, except those of His Excellency the Governor, the Acting-Prime Minister, the Mayoress and Acting-Mayor. All other vehicles in the Procession or otherwise, on approaching Newtown Park, MI'ST turn into Roy Street and dischargo their passengers there, returning to town via Daniel Street. The terrace at tha Scuth End of Newtown Park has been allocated to the various Societies and Sports Bodies, etc., taking part in the Precession, and will be apnroaclied by the Eastern Route. A Monster Torchlight Procession To-night will start from the Government Building, including sth Regiment Wellington Rifles, Petone Navals, Wellington Navals, Boy Scouts, School Cadets, and other units, with 5 Bands and the Drums of the sth Regiment. The Procession will bo illuminated by Hundreds of Coloured Torches. On arrival at the Park a Monster Firework Display will bo exhibited, with set pieces of King and Queen, Roman Candles, Rockets and Cascades, turning the night' into day. Searchlights from tho Forts will bo used to illuminate the BATTLE OF WATERLOO, In which hundreds of Territorials will tako part. The Display is absolutely unprecedented in the history of Wellington.
