SUPREME COURT SESSIONS.
(By Telegraph—Press Afsociation.l New Plymouth, June 20. The Supreme Court sessions opened here to-day before Mr. Justice Edwards. A young Maori named Munga AVaionga pleaded guilty to a chaise of breaking and entering and theft at. Okaiawa, and was sentenced to twelve months' hard labour and ordered reformatory treatment for a period not exceeding four years., Alexander Blue, charged with housebreaking ami Iheft a,t Hawera, was found guilty of theft and sentenced to twelve months' hard labour and reformatory treatment not exceeding three years. l.nwis John Teppcrell, a youth apparently nineteen years of age, was charged with carnally knowing a girl under sixleeii years of age. The jury disagreed, a fiosh' trial being ordered for next sessions, and accused released on bail.
