THE ENTRIES. . In butter and cheese classes at the National Pniry Slio.w .70 factories are exhibiting. Each factory is limited lo one pntry. The value of the- produce on exhibition totals over .ESOO. There is a fine entry of npples txiu'l-iit-ing in the £W champion class and oilier classes. One of the prizes is (he Iloyal Horticultural Society's medal. Tn the vegetable " section, collections of farm roofs, and entries in the farm produce sections total 275. The puNic school garden's section will make a fine display, and five schools will be represented in the bays. Home cookery, preserves, and pickles will, be nn intorcstiiisr feature to the ladies, with a total of 170 entries. . The ■poultry section includes utility poultry,- pigeons, and canaries, and the total entry, is ■ 300. including North and South Islaud exhibitors. The ring competitions are a. feature at the show—inter-College football nir.ftlies on the Wednesday; on Thursday, Ceroiia.tion Day, hunting events, for which there are 60 entries, beside? post entry compptitioas. Association football matches will also bo played: and on Friday there are wood-chopping . and sawing competitions.
