FALSE TRADE DESCRIPTIONS. By Teloeraph—Press Associatlon-Copyrieht London, Juno 16. In the House of Commons, Sir Edward Strachey, Parliamentary Secretary to tho Board of Agriculture, in reply to a question by Mr. C. W. Bowerman, Labour member for Deptford, said it was almost impossible to prove that false trade descriptions were heing applied to imported meat, owing to the difficulty in tho way of establishing facts as to the actunl country of origin. Tho Board of Agriculture would, ho added, bo glad to receive particulars regarding specific cases.
