MEETING AT THE COLONIAL OFFICE, By TdecraDh—Press Associallon-OoDyrlnlil (Rcc. June 19, 0.15 a.m.) London, June 18, An Agricultural Conference has been held at the Colonial Office. Sir 'William Hall-Jones, High Commissioner for New Zealand, Mr. M'Goweu, Sir N. E. Lewis, and others attended. Lord Cromer presided, and explained that it was proposed to establish a central organisation in London to transmit information enabling the Dominions and colonies to legislate against pests. Mr. M'Gowcn proposed a resolution setting out that the scheme was highly advantageous, and' that steps should betaken, to obtain tho adhesion of tho colonies. This was agreed to.
