Until the funds have gravitated back to their normal condition, a yearly decrease of some dimensions may naturally bo looked fur; but tho Church in Scotland, which raises anywhere about .£1,000,000 annually, has little to bo ashamed of; and this feat the United Free Church will doubtless continue fo accomplish and to improve upon. It will be noted with interest that the sum raised for the support of the ministry was, in round figures, .£309,000, for buildings .£105,000, tor the colleges, etc., .tit.OOO, for missions at homo .£23,000, and for missions abroad .-6219,000."
