DOUGLAS SETTLEMENT. (By Telegraph—Pros/; Association.) Waimatc, June 16. Great interest was taken in the ballot for tho Douglas Settlement to-day. The afternoon was occupied in examining the applicants, there being 129 for 34 sections. The ballot was taken this evening, and occupied over two hours.
