1 Messrs. Dalgoty and Company report as . follows:—At our iraual fortnightly Wpodvillo sale, on Monday, wo had a poor yarding of sheep and cattle, our only sale being a pen of 'mixed wcancM at £2. On Tuesday, Juno 13. wo conducted a clearing sale at Kiritaki, on behalf of Messrs. Logan Bros. We are pleased to state that this was in every way a most successful sale, the 34 dairy cows offered and sold averaging £6 lis. 3d., the top price being £9 15s. Other sales included:—Empty cow. £2 lis.; Jersey hull, £7; weaner heifer, £3 55.; heifer in calf, £3 14 3 . ; mixed wcaners, 385.; Iran horse, £24 5g ■ two-year bay filly, £7 155.; weaner pigs' 2s. 6d. and 35.; porkers, 155.: breeding sows, 10s.; spring tip-dray. £9 lCs.; and sundries, which realised satisfactory prices
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company. Ltd., report for the week ended June 16 as follows:—At Feilding/au Friday, we had a good entry of •sheep and a, medium entry of cattlo. Sheep showed an improvement in prices on late rates. We sold practically oil our entry, and tmote as follows:-Cull ewe lamhs, 4s. 10d.; light fat ewes. 9s. 4d.smr.H two-tooth wethers, lCs. 3d.; good twotooth wethers, 12s. 6d.; four and six-tooth wethers. 12s. 2d.: mixed-age wethers, lis 6d.; ewe lambs, to 10s. Id.; forward lambs, Bs.; fat Inmbs. 10s.; store cows. 365.; cmnty rows, £2 13s. 6d.: cows in milk. £4 3s. 6d.; cows in calf. £4 155.; Jersey heifers in calf' £6 55.; Jersey cows in calf, £7. '
Mr. Wewton King's weekly stock report Is n,s follows:—At TJremi!. on Monday, few young catt'.n wore yarded. A few nice lines of springing heifers came forward, and wore well competed for. as also were store cows. The demand for steers was not so keen, hut several lines changed hands; 18-roonths steers made £3 ss. :c.ilvcs to yearlings, 335. £d.: springing heifers good, £5 13s. to £6; Jersey do., £8; store cows. £3 ss. to £3 13?.; forward cows, £4 2n. 6d.: fat cow?, £5 to £5 12.5.; store pigs, 16s. At Stratford, on Tuesday, there was a good yarding of mostly grown cattle. All
calves, except sieers, met with good competition, and sold well. Biddiim for 18mqntha to two-year steers was not so brisk, but most of this clas3 wore placed privately. Calves were in 6mall supnly, and thero was an unsatisfied demand for this class. Mixed calves marto 2Bs. to 355.; 18 to 20-months steers, £3 55.; two to two and a, halt-year steers, £4 6s. 6d.; storo cows, £2 15s. to £3 6;. 6d.; Jersey heifer calves, £2 6s. 6d.; 15-months Jersey heifers, £3 14s. 6d.; Holstein do., £3 17s. 6d.; springing cows, £6 to £7 10s.; fat and forward ewes. Bs. 6d. At Stony Bivor. on Wednesday, thero was a fair yarding and attendance with good inquiry for all classes, especially calves. Mixed calves mado 255. to 3Va. 6d.; Holstcin cros3 heifer calves. £2 63.; yearling steers, £2 Ms.: 18-months empty heifers, £3 2s. 6d. to £o 10s.; storo cows, £2 10s. to £3 55.; fat cows. £5 65.; springing heifers, £5 to £5 13s.
