TORCHLIGHT AND FIREWORKS.
9 CORONATION SPECTACLES. ' Tho Grand Military Tochlight Tattoo and tho fireworks display to bo given at , Athletic Park on Coronation night (Thursday next), promise to bo magnificent spectacles. A monster torchlight procession will start from tho Government Building, including sth Regiment Wellington Rifles, Pelono Nnvnls, Weilington Navnls, Boy Scouts, School Ca- > dots, and other units, with five bands and tho drums of tho sth Regiment. Tho ■ procession will be illnminiMcd by hundreds of coloured torches. On arrival at tho Park a monster fireworks display will bo exhibited, with sot pieces of lung and Queen, Roman candles, rockets, mid carendes, turning tho night into day. Searchlights from tho forts will bo used to illuminate tho Battle of Waterloo, in which hundreds of Territorials will tako part. Tho display is absolutely unprecedented in the history of Wellington.
