A deputation from (ho Australian Medical Association and the friendly societies asked Mr. Flowers (acting-Chief ■Secretary) for protcctivo legislation against the action of tho British Medical Association in regard to alleged boycotting. It also asked' that tho question of tho method of hospital appointments bo inquired into. Mr. Flowers told the members of tho deputation they would have to settle their own quarrel. Ue recommended them to join tho British Medical Association. Tho doctors, liko others, had tho right to form a union and refuse tc work with non-unionists. Ho promised an inquiry into the relations between tho doctors and tho friendly societies.
