The City Engineer considers that when money is available it will bo wise to reconstruct M'Farlano Street, but that patching and temporary repairs should be done in the meantime. A resident, whose letter was read at the City Council meeting last night, said that unless something was done soon, the lower part of the street would be a sea of mud during the wet season. The letter was referred to tho By-Laws Committee. A slight irritation in tho throat may lead to a hacking cough.
