Messrs. Dalgety rxntl Co., Ltd., Teport having held their fortnightly sale at Upper Ilutt yesterday. Sheep csmo forward well above advertisod numbers, but tho entry of cattle was small. More- than haJf. tho yarding .of sheep comprised fats, and competition for same was very keen, wethers bringing up to 21s. Id. A total clearance was made (with the exception of one pen of ewes) ol both tho sheep and cattlo pens, cattlo making satisfactory prices. Quotations:—Fat wethers, heavy, 21s. Id.; medium, 16s. Messrs. Abraham nnd Williams, Ltd.. report:—At our P.ilraerston North sale, held on June 15. we had a fair entry of both sheep and cattle. Sheep-met with a keen demand, every lot selling tinder the hammer at prices in favour of vendors. Cattle were dull of sale, owners' reserves in most cases being rather hiifh.
