AT THE EXHIBITION.

A PAGEANT. ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL DAY. The Coronation Exhibition was again well patronised yesterday, when the usual crowd of interested visitors passed through the turnstiles and explored the various ramifications of tlio big show. Demonstrations of cooking by gas, nil, and electricity are unfailing attractions and the various entertainment's are equally successful in attracting their daily quota. That surplus, tho disposal ol' which has already been the subject of a certain amount or debate, is reported to be steadily increasing, and there seems every prospect that the enterprise of the industrial Association will be well rewarded. A SPECTACULAR CARNIVAL. A splendid spectacular carnival, under the direction of Mr. J. W. M. Harrison, was held in tho Stadium last evening, every available seat being taken. The "All Nations Pageant" was a particularly brilliant affair, the different colourings of the tlresses worn by the 70 performers being a feature. Tho various figures representing tho overseas nations formed up and led by a lady representing Britannia marched down the centre to her throne. Hero she viewed- the different countries as they passed before her and saluted. A particularly striking display at this juncture was the salute of that section representing the Maori race. The representatives of tho various countries formed themselves into four sections and all went through some very pretty evolutions. During the intervals between these displays a Spanish dance was given. The costumcs were arranged by Hammerton and Kreeft. Following on these performances an exhibition of Indian club-swing-ing by 50 children from the 'South Wellington School, school physical culi'ure, by 50 boys from St. Patrick's College, Saudow exercises, and .various gymnastic displays took place. Prominent among the latter were dumb-bell exercises by a squad of business men, and a- very fine exhibition of Indian club-swinging by Miss Elsie Jukes. During the performance Mr. Clarke's orchestra played the accompaniments and selections.STADIUM TENNIS.
