WESLEY LITERARY SOCIETY.
Tho monthly meeting of tho Wesley Literary and Debating Society was held in tho Wesley Institute buildings last evening. Mr.' W. E. Fuller, vice-presi-dent, occupied tho chair, and a fair number of members were present. A "parliamentary election" evening wag held, when Messrs. Simpson (Liberal), Moss (Conservative), Smith (Labour), Kcmslcy (Independent), and G. Keil (Suffragette advocate) offered tlicraßolvei as candidates. After interesting speeches, a vote wa» taken, which resulted in Mr. Smith beine elected. Ait tho next meeting of the society a debute will bo held on the following subject: "Does the rising generation spend too much timo in sport?"
