The Postmaster-General, Mr. Josiah Thomas, is considering a proposal for a shilling-a-word cablo service to England over tho Pacific lines. Tho proposal is to cablo to Canada, and tlicnco send the messages by mail, taking in all four days between Australia and Great Britain.
