By ten o'clock last night the Exhibition turnstiles had recorded an attendance of 2525—.£77 13s. fld. in cash takings. The total number of people who have visited the Exhibition since the opening day, threo weeks ago, now stands at 49,692. LAWN TENNIS. The tennis tournaments were continued yesterday and last evening, and at ten o'clock the position was as follows:— Men's Championship Singles. Second Round.—Howe beat Ward, C—l, c - 5 - „ , • Third Round.—Fisher teat Hawkins, G—o, fi-1. Ladies' Championship Singles. Semi-final—Miss Travers heat Miss M'lntosh, G—2, 15—2. Men's Handicap Singles. Second Round.—Hawkins beat Paterson, 41—31; Arden beat Brown, 50—23. Third Round.—Parker beat Fisher, .» —41; Townsend beat Ward, 42—21; Arden beat Wilson, 10—32. Ladies' Handicap Singles. Final—Miss Wilson beat Miss Carter, 30-26. , The tournament will be continued today, the order oi play being as follows - .— - Championships.—Miss Nunneley v. Mr.-. Nagle, 1-30 p.m.; Eller v. Nagle, 1.30 p.m. (11. Brown will play winner!; Cornell v. Paterson, 2 p.m. (Swanston will play winner). Handicaps.—Cornell v. Griffiths. . _ All players left in events after Friday s play arc asked to attend to-day. EXHIBITION SPORTS COMMITTEE. A. meeting of the Exhibition Spores Committee was held last evening, Mr. A. Marrvatt in the chair. In reply 'to a letter from the Lacrosse Association, with regard to securing a date for an exhibition of the game, it was decided to send back a list of dates available, the association to select tnerefrom. Similar correspondence trom the Ladies' Hockey Association .was referred to the Men's Association, with the object of arranging combined display ot hock The sub-committee appointed to arrange for the military night at the Stadium submitted a draft programme, and reported that matters were in train for the holding of a display on June -0. The draft programmo lor the grand athletio sports carnival at. the Stadium on Coronation Night was adopted.
