SHANNON
Mr. H. Schmidt has l»cn appointed manager for the Prouse Lumber Company's mills at Ohanga; about GO miles from Tauniarunui. When operations aro in full swing, Mr. Schmidt will have tho management of four mills, employing about 100 men. Mr. Schmidt has been managing for the Shannon Timber Co. during the past five years, and has mado many friends in this district. Mr. Thomas has. been appointed successor to Mr. Schmidt.
