LABOUR POLICY ITEMS. By Telegraph—l'rcss Association—Copyright (Rec. June 9, 0.32 a.m.) Sydney, June 8. The Minister for Works, Mr. Griffiths, has promised a Local Government deputation that he will outline a scheme for tho taxation of motors for the upkeep of roads. Mr. Flowers, Acting-Chief Secretary, told a deputation that tho time was coming when the Government would accept tho wholo financial responsibility for the care of the sick. In the Legislative Assembly a Bill for the creation of a separate Industrial Department of State has been read a first time.
